“The honest inquirer must be cautioned not to confuse the Old Roman Catholic Church with those groups calling themselves "Old Catholic". Much which, in this age, calls itself "Old Catholic" represents some compromise with Protestantism, or, in wider digression, with such non-Christian cults as theosophy. Old Roman Catholicism has no affiliation with such groups as the Polish National Catholic Church, the Utrecht Union of Churches, the Liberal Catholic Church, the Old Catholic Church on the Continent or any of the various independent groups which abound in the United States and elsewhere. The heterodoxy of these groups makes union with them impossible”.

Readers, observers and inquirers should note that due to the proliferation of groups and clergy calling themselves North American Old Roman Catholic and the ease with which they are enabled to do so under the various conflicting laws and regulations of the many different states and countries, caution should be duly exercised in determining if the said cleric, group, parish or mission is legitimately a member of the historic North American Old Roman Catholic Church by carefully checking this website. Only those missions, parishes, institutions, organizations, groups, clergy and religious in union with this jurisdiction are listed herein.
